A spray adjuvant to improve the uptake of non-contact pesticides

Avola EC is a spray adjuvant that improves the absorption of non-contact pesticides. By enhancing penetration, it increases the biological efficacy of the pesticide. The extent and speed of absorption play a significant role in protecting active ingredients; one need only consider degradation caused by surface microbiological activity or ultraviolet radiation. Similarly, it is a factor that cannot be overlooked in terms of rainfastness, especially on plants with waxy surfaces. The absorption of deep-penetrating formulations is also of great importance in controlling populations of mites—which reproduce rapidly, easily develop resistance, and generally live on the more protected underside of leaves. We designed Avola EC to facilitate this process.

Application

Application

It can be used as an adjuvant to enhance the effectiveness of miticides in all field, horticultural, and forestry crops, both in open fields and greenhouses.

The recommended application rate is 3–5 L/ha, or it may be used at a 1% concentration, at the application time specified in the registration document for the miticide being used and with the spray volume specified in the prescribed conditions.

First Aid

First Aid

In case of skin contact, wash the skin thoroughly with soap and water.

In case of eye contact, immediately rinse the eyes with plenty of water for at least 15–20 minutes.

In case of ingestion, if the victim is conscious, rinse their mouth with water, give them one or two glasses of water to drink, and seek medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting!

In case of poisoning, an allergic reaction, or if such a condition is suspected, work must be stopped immediately; after providing first aid on site, medical care at a medical facility must be arranged.

Treatment: symptomatic and supportive care.

Antidote: there is no specific antidote.
